When we built this caravan heater, we kept one thing front and center: control. This isn’t just some box that gets warm. It’s a tool—designed for people who need predictable, powerful heat in a seriously tight space.
What makes it tick
Here’s the heart of it: a 400V input pushing 2500W through a 300mm tube. That’s intentional. The voltage-to-length ratio packs a lot of watts into a small footprint, which means it heats up fast and keeps the heat focused. But that power comes with a trade-off. You get intense, directional warmth, but the electrical setup and the way the enclosure manages heat have to be on point. Plan for the load, and it sings.
Built to last on the road
We chose a halogen element inside a quartz tube for one reason: it works. Quartz handles the shock of heating up and cooling down, over and over, without falling apart. The halogen gas around the filament keeps it steady, so it won’t burn out when the road gets bumpy. And the R7s base? It’s a no-fuss, industrial-grade connection. Simple, tough, and it lets you swap the element quickly on the road—no tools needed.
Why it feels so good to use
In a caravan, space is precious, and so is your time. This heater delivers warmth almost instantly—no long wait while air slowly warms up. It uses infrared to target objects and people directly, instead of wasting energy heating empty air. The result? You feel the heat where you need it, with a smaller footprint. We’ve put this thing through the wringer in our own lab, testing the spectrum output and running it through shock and thermal cycling. It’s built to take the pounding of the road and still hit the same heat profile, again and again.
